On September 25, the European Defense Tech Hub (EDTH) will host the Defense Hack Day—a high-intensity, one-day innovation sprint where builders, engineers, and founders take on validated defense and security challenges.

Organized in partnership with the Estonian Defence and Aerospace Industry Association, Tangent Link, NATO DIANA Estonian Accelerator, and the International Centre for Defence and Security (ICDS), the event is part of Estonian Defence Tech Week and will gather top talent from across Europe to develop mission-critical solutions in just one day.

The day kicks off with a focused challenge briefing at 9:30 AM, followed by a full day of hands-on hacking, and culminates in a pitch competition. Each challenge comes directly from frontline defense partners, including Iron Cluster Lviv, the Third Assault Brigade of Ukraine, and other NATO-aligned units, ensuring participants are solving real-world problems with immediate operational relevance.

In addition to the main hacking track, attendees can join interactive workshops, including a drone-building session, designed to sharpen technical skills and inspire bold new ideas.
