Maj Ivo Peets, PhD

Dr Ivo Peets is Commander of the Estonian Defence Forces’ Force Transformation Command, where he leads force-wide transformation and the development, acquisition and fielding of new defence capabilities. The Command connects the military with the defence industry, academia and public and private sector partners to translate operational needs into deployable solutions. With more than two decades of military and international experience, his professional background is complemented by doctoral-level studies at the Naval Postgraduate School in the United States.
