Christian Daschner

Christian Daschner graduated from the University of Applied Sciences Munich with a degree in mechanical engineering in 2001. Shortly after, he began his career as an external project manager specializing in custom equipment for SMT (Surface Mount Technology) assembly machines. During this time, he was responsible for developing several breakthrough tools for Flip-Chip and RFID equipment technologies that were still in their infancy at the turn of the century. Building on this expertise, he founded db-matik in 2003.

Today, Christian Daschner serves as the CEO and Founder of db-matik AG. Under his leadership, the company has evolved into a global leader in turnkey reel-to-reel production lines for flexible and printed electronics, as well as industrial automation and high-precision parts manufacturing. Since its inception in 2005, db-matik AG has grown dynamically and now employs a dedicated team of over 120 specialists. Christian’s profound expertise in developing and manufacturing cutting-edge production equipment for the electronics industry remains the driving force behind the company’s continuous success.
