Saab to Sponsor EDW 2026: Strengthening Regional Security Together

Estonia’s security and defence, particularly in the maritime domain, are increasingly linked to industrial development and international cooperation. In the Baltic Sea region, the protection of critical maritime infrastructure is a shared responsibility, making close collaboration between allied nations and trusted industry partners more important than ever.

As members of the European Union and NATO, Estonia and Sweden share common security interests and face similar challenges in the region. Saab is committed to supporting Estonia’s long-term defence ambitions through advanced technologies, industrial cooperation, and the development of sustainable national capabilities.

With a strong focus on local industry engagement and long-term partnerships, Saab aims to contribute not only as a supplier but also as a strategic partner in strengthening Estonia’s national defence and regional security. By combining cutting-edge defence solutions with local expertise and industrial collaboration, Saab helps build resilient and future-ready capabilities.

At Estonian Defence Week, Saab will highlight solutions that support the protection of critical maritime infrastructure and showcase the role of Saab's Littoral Mission Vessel (LMV), LMV Baltic, in enhancing maritime security, situational awareness, and operational readiness in the Baltic Sea region. Saab will also present capabilities that contribute to stronger air defence and enhanced national resilience in response to evolving security challenges, including its Mobile Short-Range Air Defence (MSHORAD) solution, designed to provide highly mobile protection against a wide range of aerial threats.
