Revolutionizing Defense Robotics: Saving Lives on the Frontlines
ASAX Innovation is an Estonian defence technology company developing and manufacturing unmanned ground vehicles for contested last-mile logistics.
Founded in Viljandi in 2024 by a team with defence and engineering backgrounds, ASAX was created in response to operational requirements identified through direct engagement with frontline military units in Ukraine. Our mission is straightforward: to build unmanned systems that solve real battlefield problems, reduce risks to personnel and maintain operational tempo in demanding environments.
Our flagship platform, the ASAX H-2, is a robust and field-serviceable UGV designed to transport equipment, supplies and mission-specific payloads across difficult terrain. Its mechanically simple, combustion-powered design provides extended endurance without dependence on charging infrastructure.
The H-2 is combat-proven in Ukraine, in service with the Estonian Defence Forces, and has been offically tested and evaluated by Estonian, Ukrainian and Polish Armed Forces. ASAX Innovation was also selected as a winner of the U.S. Army xTech|Edge Strike: Ground competition.
We focus on practical capability, affordability, reliability and scalable production—because modern defence systems must not only perform in the field, but also remain repairable, replaceable and economically sustainable.
