Remonon is a digital VAT relief solution for allied forces. Developed by NOVAT GmbH, we are making military life abroad more affordable: NATO personnel stationed in a host nation receive the VAT relief they are entitled to on their personal purchases – fully digitally, from purchase to refund.
Remonon is operational in Germany today – not a pilot, not a concept – with more than 50,000 registered users.
The problem
VAT relief for allied personnel is possible in every NATO host nation, yet in practice it is fragmented, paper-based or missing altogether. Allied families abroad pay full price – and morale, retention and readiness pay the bill.
